Potentiostat

A Bipotentiostat/Galvanostat is used to monitor and control the electrochemical potentials and currents in potentiostat, galvanostat or bipotentiostat modes in the electrochemistry (EC) cell.

Microscopes with 37-pin connections to the NanoScope V Controller, e.g. MultiMode and STM, can use the Bruker Universal Bipotentiostat or a third-party potentiostat while microscopes that use a dual-cable connection to the NanoScope V Controller, e.g. Dimension Icon, must use a third party bipotentiostat, such as the CH Instruments 760D. Third-party potentiostats are referred to as Generic Potentiostats. Refer to Generic Potentiostat Installation for additional information.
